Karls Place Kennel sits on 65 glorious acres of land where your K9 family member(s) can enjoy a day away or a longer stay. Mike, the owner and operator, resides on the premises with his family, ensuring that he is available to resolve any issues immediately, day and night.

Located close to Cornwall, Karls Place is convenient for commuters traveling to both Montreal and Ottawa. Formerly known as the Howliday Inn, which was established in 2010 by Ray and Carolyn Dubeau, we aim to continue their legacy of dedication and passion in providing exceptional pet care for your furry family members.

Each suite at Karls Place Kennel features both a private indoor and outdoor area for our guests. All areas are camera-monitored 24/7/365 for supervision and security, connected directly back to the residence. The expansive 65 acres offer plenty of opportunities to walk and play, including four large secured exercise areas. Additionally, an onsite backup generator is in place to ensure uninterrupted service during grid power failures.

Cancellation Policy

Due to our high occupancy rates and the number of last-minute cancellations, we will need to charge for the booking up to three days if not canceled 48 hours prior to your drop-off. If I can fill the spot, you will not be charged.
